Why?
Checking and cleaning your dog's ear can be gross. But if ignored, it can become really really gross. HEre are some tips to make sure your pup's ears stay healthy. IF the ears are already looking bad, if have some tips for that too.
Preventative Cleaning
It is important to always check your pets ear. Making sure they are free of debris and infection. A easy way to help clean your pets ears is to get a good ear flush for you pets. I always recommend doing this outside because your dog will shake their heads. Follow the instructions on the bottle and then take a cotton ball and wipe the outer part of the ear. You never want to wipe deep in the ear.
Already Bad
If you notice your pets ears are a little irritated from seasonal allergies Zymox has always been a go-to for me. If your pets ears have a funky smell then they need to be seen by a vet ASAP.
